I can't sign in. What should I try?
First, double-check the email address you registered with — typos are the most common cause. If your password isn't working, use the password reset option on the sign-in screen at app.groceryhawk.io. Still locked out? Email contact@groceryhawk.io from your account email and we'll sort it out.
How do I delete my account?
In the app, go to Settings → Delete account. This permanently and immediately erases your account and all household data — shopping lists, pantry, recipes, stores, loyalty cards, and dietary profile. There's no grace period and no hidden backup, so make sure you're ready. You can also email contact@groceryhawk.io from your account email and we'll delete it for you.
How do “deals near me” work?
You enter a ZIP code and a search radius, and Grocery Hawk finds weekly-ad deals from grocery stores in that area, with links out to each store's weekly ad. We never use your device's GPS — the ZIP code you type is the only location information involved, and it's used only to serve that request.
Are AI recipes safe to follow?
Treat them like a suggestion from a clever friend, not a certified recipe. AI-generated recipes and nutrition summaries can contain mistakes — including missing or incorrect allergen information. Always verify ingredients against actual product labels before cooking or eating, especially if you or anyone in your household has a food allergy, intolerance, or medical dietary requirement.
